barn plan..
drew these today and someone asked to put them up.... Of course many things could (and most likely will) be added or taken away, and we're probably going to end up with something completely and utterly different, which isn't a bad thing but I thought some sort of idea of setting inside would be helpful for when boarding begins, so we haven't got 12 completely different barns.
The two views indoors are not layouts, just sort of "here's what the inside would look like" no consideration for prettiness or composition.... the first inside view has the milkcooler in blue, i made it see thru for the sake of showing the cows and watertrough...
I tried to incorporate everything mentioned in the beat boards, a water trough for al, windows the farmer can look through, the cooler is set up so a rifle could shoot holes into it if shot through the door, nathan mentioned putting the milk cooler on a slightly higher level for a fun waterfall/flood type effect and there's a section that the milk truck could drive into. (I set it up so the truck could narrowly miss the farmer if wanted, and the section could collapse to prevent the farmers entry without causing any severe damage to the rest of the barn. :)

pics
sum up and more sketches
to sum up, (for everyone who wasn't there.)
the theme is just farm, no spaceships or pirates or whatnot.
who:
five main cats (If its all right with everyone I'd like to start off with all five in the milk truck)
Tom: black cat with red collar Calm, cool, sly, sorta greedy
Scrags: thin cat Cat that shows up in first verse. Nervous, jittery
Al: Fat, perhaps a bit dimwitted, comic relief type fellow
Persian: Fancy long haired white cat, could be male or female, the song doesn't specify.
Narrator: Short, grey cat with a bent tail a straw hat and possibly a banjo, silent, passive,
Farmer: just a farmer not much specified about him yet... serious, gets angrier and more desperate as song continues.
The dog: big fluffy collie with patches but since he only appears in one scene its not so important. Just very playful.
What: Regular ol dairy farm
When: Somewhat on the verge of classic and modern farming... like 10 years back or so, late enough for a big milk cooler but early enough for milk jugs and containers to be sitting around the barn as well.
Remeber: Most of this takes place at NIGHT, except for #11 and 12
Where: I'm assuming we're in canada, no camels or penguins or anything silly like that.
Why: Cats want milk, the milk truck is only filled with empty bottles.
For everyone that came, thanks so much
also some sketches I did yesterday...

Song Lyrics
Some friends and I in a milkman's truck
Were eating catnip one night
When into the truck a tomcat jumped
His scraggly face gone white.
"What's up", says Tom, "Have you seen a dog,
Or has our milkman retired?"
"Milkman retired? Fft hiss!", says he,
"The dairy farms' on fire!" And...
"Mew," says Tom, "What a bit of luck!
Everybody follow me
And it's out to the barn
If the fire's there
Then we'll have milk for free."
We chased Tom down nipping his heels
Then into the milk pond flipped
And we hadn't been there ten minutes or more
Till we were all quite 'nipped. And...
There were toms stretched up and down
Lappin' up the milk on the floor.
"My Cream, Cream!" the farmer cried
As he came knockin' on the door (clap clap)
Oh don't let him in till it's all lapped up
Then somebody shouted Mreow! MREOW!
And we all drank milk till the cows came home
When the dairy farm caught fire.
Al sauntered over to a water pail
And pawed at it as he gagged (cough cough)
Started takin' off his flea collar
Likewise his rabies tags.
"Hold on, " says Tom, "that ain't allowed
Ya can't do that thing here.
Why go washing your tags in the wat'ring trough
When milk's coming out our ears?" And...
Then there came from the old barn door
A collie from across the street
And when he saw three hundred cats
He took a ringside seat
He nipped at tails in good clean fun
Splashed milk on a cat or three
And just to show there was no harm done,
He licked their whiskers clean.
Then there came a mighty splash
Fur flew to and fro
Leaping from the rafters' flames
Into the pails below.
"Well, we're safe here," a Persian mewed
Paddling in the foam,
"This here's a bath I'd get used to
They won't believe back home!" And...
When the sun came up, the fire was out
We rolled across the floor
The barn was burned. The milk was drunk.
There wasn't any more.
Tom stretched his legs, said, "Good job, lads!"
Raised his tail up higher,
"There's dairies all along this road.
Let's set them all on fire!" And...
There were toms stretched up and down
Lappin' up the milk on the floor.
"My Cream, Cream!" the farmer cried
As he came knockin' on the door (clap clap)
